Brittni Forbis is a highly-skilled paralegal at Varghese Summersett Family Law Group, where she works alongside Senior Associate Attorney Kristen Carr. Brittni and Kristen make a formidable team and are dedicated to delivering the best results for their clients.
Brittni’s experience in the legal field is vast and includes working on both simple and complex family law cases, including divorce, child custody disputes, asset division and adoptions. In addition to drafting and filing legal documents, managing schedules, and preparing cases for court, Brittni serves as the point of contact for new and current clients.
She has a strong understanding of the law, which allows her to provide valuable insight and calm nerves during what is often a very emotional and stressful time for clients.
Background
Brittni grew up in Amarillo in the Texas Panhandle. After graduating high school, she obtained her Associate’s degree in pre-law at Amarillo College. Brittni then transferred to West Texas A&M University, where she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in general studies and graduated with honors.
She has more than a decade of legal experience, serving as a court clerk, a court coordinator, and a paralegal in various capacities in both the pubic and private sectors. She has a genuine desire to help people through difficult times and put them on a better path.
Fun Fact: When she’s not working, Brittni enjoys playing video games and watching Marvel, Stranger Things and Dragon Ball Z. She can also play the drums.
