We are looking for an experienced Personal Injury Attorney who is dedicated to pursuing exceptional results for clients going through some of the most difficult times of their lives.   • Pre-Litigation:
    • Manage all phases of personal injury cases from intake to settlement.
    • Conduct legal research and provide comprehensive answers based on the facts of the case and applicable law.
    • Draft legal documents, including complaints, discovery requests, motions, and briefs.
    • Perform detailed case investigations to ascertain liability and quantify damages.
    • Represent clients in settlement conferences and mediation.
    • Ensure clients remain well-informed on the progress of their cases.
  • Litigation:
    • Superior trial preparation and organizational skills.
    • Develop and discuss trial strategies based on analysis of case facts and legal precedents.
    • Utilize lay and expert witnesses and evidence effectively.
    • Conduct and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.
    • Prepare clients and witnesses for deposition, providing guidance on effective testimony techniques.
    • Analyze deposition transcripts to extract critical information for case strategy.
    • Utilize deposition findings to negotiate settlements or strengthen the case for trial.
    • Gather and exchange evidence: Use the discovery process to collect all relevant documents, records, and evidence.
    • Conduct depositions: Arrange and conduct depositions of involved parties, witnesses, and experts.
    • Request and review interrogatories: Draft and submit interrogatories.
    • File and respond to requests for admissions.

Are you a college student looking for a part-time position managing social media?

We are looking for a motivated, dynamic social media intern to join our marketing team. Candidates should be able to work at least 15 hours a week at our busy downtown Fort Worth office. This opportunity is ideal for students or recent graduates in communications, public relations, marketing, journalism, advertising or digital media. The marekting/social media intern will be responsible for creating social media posts on all platforms, planning social media calendars, and assisting with marketing campaigns. The right candidate must be passionate about social media and be able to work as a team, as well as independently. The internship will be in-person with some remote work possible.

Law Student Intern

Internships offer the opportunity to work with our career trial attorneys and assist clients who are facing the biggest problems in their lives. Outstanding law students and undergraduate students on the pre-law track come to Varghese Summersett for the opportunity to train with our attorneys. Interns perform a variety of tasks ranging from research to assisting with trial prep. We offer paid positions throughout the year. Interns typically work around 20 hours a week during the spring and fall semesters and up to 30 hours a week during the summer.
