Jennifer Saperstein
Development Lead
Jennifer Saperstein is the Development Lead for Varghese Summersett, where she is responsible for establishing strong relationships with the firm’s employees and fostering their continued development and growth. In this role, she facilitates new hire training, benefits administration, and employee retention efforts. She also serves as the liaison between leadership and staff to ensure open communication and works closely with the Operations Director to develop and implement firm-wide initiatives.
Jennifer is also overseeing the integration and automation of a new case management software system developed by the firm’s founder to streamline processes and improve efficiency. This project has been a major focus, and Jennifer’s leadership and guidance are crucial to its successful implementation.
With more than a decade of experience in organizational development, Jennifer brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role as Development Lead. She is instrumental in maintaining a positive work environment by implementing strategies that enhance employee satisfaction and performance.
Background
Jennifer grew up in Denton and graduated from Lake Dallas High School. She went on to attend Texas Woman’s University as a first-generation college student, earning her bachelor’s degree in 2011. She then pursued graduate studies at Oklahoma State University, where she obtained a master’s degree in Educational Leadership with a focus on College Student Development in 2013.
For the next 11 years, she worked in a university setting—at Texas Christian University, East Carolina University, and University of Texas at Arlington—in housing and residence life. During this time, she gained valuable experience working closely with students and young professionals as they navigated their educational and career journeys, giving her a unique perspective she now brings to her role at Varghese Summersett.
Jennifer’s background and experience have deepened her understanding of the critical role professional development and continuous learning play in individual and organizational success. She is passionate about helping others reach their full potential, believing that investing in employees’ personal and professional growth not only benefits them but also strengthens the firm’s overall success.
Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys reading, crafting, playing pickleball, and spending time with her husband and young daughter.
Fun Fact: Jennifer has been playing sports since she was 7 years old and has never broken a bone. She also studied abroad in England and lived in a manor house – a historic castle that made her time there truly one-of-a-kind and unforgettable.
