Sarah Griffin

Sarah Griffin is a paralegal at Varghese Summersett in the Family Law Group, where she provides invaluable support to the firm’s partners and attorneys. With 15 years in family law, she is a highly skilled professional with extensive experience managing complex cases, including those involving Qualified Domestic Relations Orders, or QDROs.

Varghese Summersett is one of only a few firms in Texas that handles QDROs in-house for our clients, as well as for other lawyers throughout the state. Sarah is an integral part of our QDRO team, working closely with attorneys to draft and file QDROs in a timely and efficient manner.

Beyond her work on QDROs, Sarah is a highly skilled legal assistant well-versed in all aspects of family law. In addition to providing comprehensive support to the firm’s legal team, she also serves as a valuable resource for clients, providing guidance and assistance through what is often a very difficult and emotional process.

Sarah grew up in Odessa, where she graduated from Permian High School, home of the famed movie “Friday Night Lights.” After graduation, she played volleyball for Angelo State University – a sport with a long family history that remains a favorite pastime today.

Sarah met her future husband, Wade, while he was obtaining his law degree at Texas Tech University School of Law. They later moved to North Texas, where they started a family law practice, The Griffin Firm, which served North Texas individuals and families for more than a decade.

Today, Wade is a partner at Varghese Summersett Family Law Group, where Sarah serves as a highly-regarded legal assistant who specializes in QDROs. In their free time, they enjoy spending time with their three children and four grandchildren.

Fun Fact: Sarah’s mother, JaNeen Eudy, is in the Panhandle Texas Coaches Hall of Fame. She is the second-most-winning high school volleyball coach in Texas, securing seven state titles during her 41-year career. Sarah’s daughter shares their love of volleyball and is a coach at Aledo High School
