      Alex Mens is a paralegal at Varghese Summersett Family Law Group, where she assists attorneys with document drafting, legal research, case management, and trial preparation. Alex is highly organized, detail-oriented, and has superb communication skills, all of which make her an invaluable asset to the team.

      She is committed to providing the best possible legal services to clients. She is passionate about helping people navigate life’s biggest challenges, including divorce  and child custody matters.

      Background

      Alex was born and raised in Iowa. She graduated in 2019 from the University of Northern Iowa  with a B.A. in education. She went on to Northwest Missouri State, where she earned a master’s degree in leadership.

      Alex began her career as a teacher, moving to North Texas to teach elementary school in a nearby school district. After years of teaching, she decided to make the switch to law and became a paralegal.

      Fun Fact: Alex and her husband have a corgi named Theodore.

      Benson serves as an adjunct faculty at Baylor Law School.
