We are looking for an experienced Personal Injury Attorney who is dedicated to pursuing exceptional results for clients

Core Responsibilities

As a personal injury attorney at Varghese Summersett, you will handle cases from intake through pre-litigation to
litigation. Specific tasks include:

• Pre-Litigation:
  • Manage all phases of personal injury cases from intake to settlement.
  • Conduct legal research and provide comprehensive answers based on the facts of the case and applicable
    law.
  • Draft legal documents, including complaints, discovery requests, motions, and briefs.
  • Perform detailed case investigations to ascertain liability and quantify damages.
  • Represent clients in settlement conferences and mediation.
  • Ensure clients remain well-informed on the progress of their cases.
• Litigation:
  • Superior trial preparation and organizational skills.
  • Develop and discuss trial strategies based on analysis of case facts and legal precedents.
  • Utilize lay and expert witnesses and evidence effectively.
  • Conduct and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.
  • Prepare clients and witnesses for deposition, providing guidance on effective testimony techniques.
  • Analyze deposition transcripts to extract critical information for case strategy.
  • Utilize deposition findings to negotiate settlements or strengthen the case for trial.
  • Gather and exchange evidence: Use the discovery process to collect all relevant documents, records, and
    evidence.
  • Conduct depositions: Arrange and conduct depositions of involved parties, witnesses, and experts.
  • Request and review interrogatories: Draft and submit interrogatories.
  • File and respond to requests for admissions.

Experienced Family Law Paralegal

We are looking for a full-time Family Law Paralegal. The candidate must have a positive attitude and enjoy working with

The Family Law Paralegal plays a crucial role in supporting attorneys by managing case files, drafting legal documents,

administrative duties and must be comfortable working under pressure. The ideal candidate is passionate about the legal

Daily Job Duties:

• Manage and organize case files, ensuring all documents are up to date.
• Draft and e-file legal documents, including letters, pleadings, and motions.
• Maintain communication with clients, providing case updates and answering inquiries.
• Schedule and coordinate meetings, court appearances, and deadlines for attorneys.
• Assist attorneys in case preparation, including research and trial preparation.
• Maintain and update client records in the case management system.

Client Experience Representative

juggling heavy phone traffic and keeping an office full of attorneys pointed in the right direction. In part, you
will also be an intake specialist who must be able to handle calls with grace and compassion.

Law Student Intern

Internships offer the opportunity to work with
our career trial attorneys and assist clients who are facing the biggest problems in their lives. Outstanding law
students and undergraduate students on the pre-law track come to Varghese Summersett for the opportunity to train with
our attorneys. Interns perform a variety of tasks ranging from research to assisting with trial prep. We offer paid
positions throughout the year. Interns typically work around 20 hours a week during the spring and fall semesters and up
to 30 hours a week during the summer.
