Bresha Shepherd

Intake Director

Bresha Shepherd is Director of Intake at Varghese Summersett, where she is the first point of contact for prospective clients. For many people, this is their first time dealing with the criminal justice system and they are, understandably, scared, confused and overwhelmed. Bresha listens to their story, explains the process and helps them decide if Varghese Summersett is the right fit for their case. Bresha understands that hiring an attorney for a criminal matter is an extremely important decision, and it is also a very personal one. She takes time to get to know people and answer any questions they may have. Bresha has a passion for the law and a heart for people. She also has superb communication skills, patience, and empathy, which is why she was selected for such an important role at the firm. In addition to getting to know potential clients, she also schedules initial attorney consultations and manages new client onboarding. Bresha wants all clients to feel comfortable and confident with the attorneys and staff at our firm. Her position allows her to calmly guide them through one of the biggest issues in their lives and give them hope for their future.

Background

Bresha was born and raised in North Texas. She graduated from Baylor University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences with a business concentration. While at Baylor, Bresha was a student athlete for the Acrobatics and Tumbling team.

In her spare time, Bresha enjoys spending time with her husband, Spencer, at the family ranch in Tyler and cheering on her Baylor Bears.

Fun fact: Bresha has a twin sister.
